Mr. Juan Marcos is a majority owner of the Sponsor. A resident of Torreon, Mr. Juan Marcos was educated at the Tecnologico de Monterrey and received a degree in Industrial Engineering. Jose Juan Marcos is the Chief Executive Officer of Siete Leguas Group, an international conglomerate of companies headquartered in Torreon Mexico and is the third-generation owner of the group. Beginning as Siete Leguas Textile Group in 1958, the company has grown to be one of the largest employers in central Mexico.

 

Mr. Juan Marcos led the company at a time of exceptional growth through acquisitions and expanded offerings to current customers. Since 2012 Mr. Juan Marcos has grown the company by expanding into mining by building a new shipping facility in Vera Cruz. He built one of Mexico’s machining plants for the automotive industry though Siete Leguas Automotive. Also in the automotive sector, Mr. Juan Marcos formed a joint venture with SLA Tecopress of Italy to build one of Mexico’s largest high pressure aluminum diecasting facilities. In 2016, under the direction of Mr. Juan Marcos, Siete Leguas began planning investments in the United States. Through a United States subsidiary, the company made investments in warehouses in Texas and Arkansas, office space in Iowa and Texas, and multifamily in many states, including Tennessee, Florida and Alabama. Mr. Juan Marcos has partnered with many Mexican and US banks such as Santander, JP Morgan, Banamex, and Bank of America to finance several projects.
